Sangaku is a fun game of intersections, rotations, and dimensional variations. In Japanese culture, Sangaku are geometric problems engraved on wooden tablets, most often illustrating problems involving circles and ellipses inscribed within one another. Hence the idea of inscribing four different circles, two 40 cm and two 20 cm in radius, within an imaginary circle with a radius of 50 cm, creating a new element governed by invisible yet perceptible geometric relationships. The points of intersection between the various elements become the legs supporting the four different planes, which skillfully fill and differentiate the space, creating a perfect mix of solids and voids.
