Exhibition "Fragments of Empathy", works by Borek Sipek

Among the events that enlivened the city of Milan during Design Week, we would like to highlight the exhibition 'Fragments of Empathy' by the great Czech architect and designer Borek Sipek (1949-2016), organised by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Milan, in Via Morgani 20.


From 7 to 12 June, people passionate about this extraordinary artist were able to admire 51 glass creations from private collectors and companies, recalling Sipek's influence on Italian society in the 1980s. Among them, some vases made for Driade that encapsulate the typical stylistic language of the Bohemian 'master glassmaker' and his ability to speak all the languages of the world.


Among the many works that Borek Sipek has created for Driade, we recall Angela, Pruner, Pino, Olga, Verdurin, Tristano and Isotta.
