| Opened in 1994 the first flagship store now occupies a
large area on the ground floor in Palazzo Gallarati Scotti, an 18th Century
building on via Manzoni. This is a highly central location, in Milan's famous
fashion and design district. The shop is divided into a succession of spacious
environments and galleries. The succession of spaces allows product displays to
be grouped according to the different Driade catalogues. Entering the first
large room, with its windows fronting onto via Manzoni, there is the suggestion
of the areas of a Driade house, with the combination of shelving and systems
together with driade furniture. Below, on the lower ground floor, a
number of kitchens demonstrate the richness of the driadechef
catalogue. Then along the gallery that runs from the entrance to the heart of
the building are the displays of the objects belong to the driadekosmo
brand. Going on the passage there are the wonderful fresco rooms, where the
products of driade collection are shown. |
