Pietro Derossi is architect and architectonic planning professor at Politecnico University in Milan, he teached in many foreign universities such as in London, New York and Berlin. He published a lot of books; we can remember the most important: “Modernity without vanguard.” Electa 1990 Milan; “For a narrativ architecture.” Skira 2000 Milan. Derossi works into urbanistic, architectural and design field; his architectural and design works are published on national and international magazines. He took part to important exhibitions such as “Italy - New domestic Landscape”, 1972 at MOMA in New York; VIII Biennale, 1973, at Moderm Art Museum in Paris; “I.B.A.:” The urbanistic rebulding ”, 1984 at Gropius Bau in Berlin; “The imaged cities: a travel in Italy. Nine projects for nine cities.”. Coordinator of Turin’s group, 1987, XVII Triennale in Milano; “Architectur and urbanistic in Turin from 1945 to 1990”, 1991, Lingotto in Torino; XIX International Exhibition. Scientific responsible, 1996, La Triennale in Milano; Architectural stories, 2005, Architectural departement of University in Milan. In 1995 he founded the Derossi & Co. with Paolo Derossi and Davide Derossi.
