A summer retreat nestled in the inaccessible landscape of volcanic rock, the result of the renovation of a village of dammusi, the traditional houses of the island of Pantelleria.
The project included the renovation of existing dammusi, with the integration of new spaces made with traditional techniques and materials.
Protagonists of the villa are the outdoor spaces: the internal courtyards and outdoor lounges protected by curtains in raw linen or naturally shaded by palm trees, the bottom of a crater natural becomes a beautiful outdoor theater for film shows, music and theater.
The kasbah of Pantelleria is the result of a balanced mix of tradition and innovation, both in materials and furnishings. The ancient furniture is in contrast with contemporary ones by Driade. Tokyo-Pop, Lord Yo, Toy, Bo, Pip-e, Nemo, Miss Lacy, Lagò, and Zigo seats furnish elegantly all living areas of the villa.
